Join other members of the congregation in praying for specific needs and persons. Communication of names and needs is done via email.
HOMEBOUND/CARE FACILITY VISITATIONS
Make monthly visits to our homebound members and members living in local care facilities to help them maintain their connection with the church. Visit and pray together. Share The Upper Room and any other written communication from the church. Also, call or send a note of encouragement at least one time per month.
Represent the church by sharing Christ’s love with the one hospitalized as well as any family/friends who may be present. Visits are brief as we respect the needs of the one hospitalized.
Share the sacrament of Holy Communion with those living in a care facility or who are home-bound. This monthly ministry is offered the first week of each month.
HOSPITAL FOLLOW-UP CALLS
Express love, care, and concern through a brief, friendly call to persons after they are discharged from the hospital. We want to ensure that persons know the church is continuing to pray for them and will support them during their time of recovery.
Ushers and greeters welcome those attending funeral/memorial services at our church. Most families choose to have a reception following the service, so volunteers are also needed to assist with serving food during this time.
Experienced quilters meet monthly to sew, piece, assemble and quilt quilts that are delivered by the pastors to those who are seriously ill.
CALL TEAM FOR ABSENT MEMBERS
Callers contact members who have missed three consecutive Sundays to express care for the members and determine if there is a need or concern that has caused the members to miss worship.
